SUMMARY:PMIMY Webinar: How to be the CEO of your career!
DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, Dr. Zouhair challenges members to think critically about their careers. He will discuss creating a job search “roadmap” that will help members land their dream job. He will also cover how to manage one’s career as a mini project using the 4P’s—Perspective\, Preparation\, Plan\, Performance—and with some tools\, tips\, and techniques to create a meaningful and impactful career path. The session will end with a Q&A between Dr. Zouhair and the audience \nSpeaker : Ahmed Zouhair\nFluent in three languages (Arabic\, French\, and English) and with three degrees—including a doctorate in Business Administration—serial entrepreneur and seasoned project\, product\, and program management consultant Ahmed Zouhair knows the value of hard work. He also understands what it takes to build an empire from scratch. While today his international roster of clients includes companies and individuals from the education\, IT\, telecommunications\, digital security\, oil and gas\, finance and banking\, and non-profit sectors\, Ahmed’s career didn’t start out that way. His first job after college involved collecting mud samples during 12-hour shifts on an oil and gas rig. Such tedious work in a harsh environment taught him patience and how to think on his feet when things go wrong. He likewise learned to interact with many different types of people\, skills he would later refine as a volunteer business coach and workshop presenter for SCORE. \nQuestions at ahmed.zouhair@pmtrainingconsulting.com or connect with me on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ahmedzouhair/ \n[Click Here To Register]\n  \nPRICE \nMember= FOC\nNon-member=20 \n  \nLEARNING TAKEAWAY \n\nLearn the ability to unlock your hidden Project Management Skills.\nApplication of the 5P to land your dream job\nApplication of the Double Diamond Design Thinking Framework\n\n[Click Here To Register]\n

SUMMARY:Why Adaptive Oversight Matters?
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nWebinar Overview \nHow do we know an initiative is successful? We notice that its outcomes are good for all its stakeholders. Achieving success requires both excellence in execution (achieving goals)\, and excellence in governance (ensuring good goals are set and adjusted over time). Figuring out what objectives to pursue and what to pay attention to are some of the challenging tasks of governance. And how do we know when we’re doing too much\, too little or just enough? \nWe can see “governance” as the exercise of directing or restraining influence. The alternative word “oversight” has a dual meaning. It shares one meaning with “governance”\, and it also means “we forgot something”\, as in “oops\, we had an oversight”. For this reason\, I prefer the idea of “adaptive oversight”\, as it draws attention both to the things that we are aware of\, and finds ways to draw into awareness things that were previously missed. \n  \nLearning Takeaways \nJoin us for this 1-hour webinar to learn and we’ll explore a number of key frames of mind to consider when practicing adaptive oversight. These will help us to improve our focus and direct our attention on better topics. We will notice ideas that will help us to achieve better relevance through shared understanding. In effect\, we will learn how to nurture more effective and adaptive oversight. \n\nWhy should we strive to practice adaptive oversight?\nWhat are some of the key balances to explore in adaptive oversight?\nWhere can we learn more about adaptive oversight and related topics?\n\nBring questions as we will have Q&A at the end of the presentation. \n  \nPresenter: Dr. Horia Slușanschi \nDate: 11 March 2023 (Saturday)\nTime: 3:00PM – 4:00PM (GMT+8)\nRegistration link: https://bit.ly/3ksFuLX\nPDUs: 1 PDU (ways of working)
