William Tan is the author of the popular Project Management book, titled “Project Management: A Practical Step-By-Step Guide”. He has more than 22 years of working and project management experience in Multi-National Companies, including with Nortel, Intel and Motorola. In Motorola, he led Project Manager Office (PMO) and managed many hardware and software RND and NPI projects for 2-way walkie-talkie customers worldwide, contributing to additional revenue of >$100M annually.
In early Universal Serial Bus (USB) days in Intel, he was involved in implementing many USB projects successfully. He and his team developed the customer specifications for the world first USB microcontroller! He published one of the first USB books, “Developing USB PC Peripherals” that outlined key steps in developing USB devices. This helped to accelerate USB adoption during those days.
He graduated from University of Canterbury, New Zealand and National University of Singapore, with a First-Class Honours degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) and Master of Engineering (Telecommunications) in 1991 and 1994, respectively.
Today, William Tan continues his passion with PMO Innovations Sdn Bhd. He focuses on providing Agile, Scrum, and Project Management training, coaching and consulting services, to companies and individuals in Malaysia and South East Asia, and assist candidates to attain their Professional Credentials!
This workshop is for the PMP® aspirants who are preparing and planning to take the gruesome PMP® exam soon.
