Jacqueline Soo, PMP

Jacqueline was first involved with the non-profit organization PMI after she earned her PMP in 2015. Inspired at the PMI Asia-Pacific Leadership Institute Meeting 2019 Penang, Jacqueline quickly developed a deep passion for volunteering. This resolve stuck with her through the forming of the PMI Malaysia Southern Branch, leading her to step up to run for our chapter’s Board of Directors nomination and election in 2021. Within her two years’ service term as Deputy President, Jacqueline provides leadership and supports to our chapter’s Board members and Volunteer Experience team. Jacqueline is happy spending her time keeping PMI Malaysia Chapter an amazing community for continuous learning, sharing experiences, inspiring and helping others to pursue their potentials. Jacqueline earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Technology Malaysia and she is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®️), Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices (P3O®️) Practitioner, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®️) Practitioner candidate. She is part of the team that won the APM Project Management Company of the Year Award 2018 (Dyson), a member of PMO Global Alliance and PMO Global Awards Judging Committee Member since 2018, as well as the World’s Top 16 Semi-Finalists and Top 3 Finalists for the PMO Leader Of The Year Award 2020. Jacqueline currently resides in Johor Bahru with her husband and her two children. She likes to travel and she enjoys sightseeing, natural walks.
