Krishnan Srinivasan, PMP

Krishnan is a 4 term Chapter Leader. After serving 2 terms as Treasurer hewas elected as the President in October 2015 was returned unopposed in April 2017.
He holds a BSc in Accounting & Financial Management from the University of Buckingham and a MBA from the University of Edinburgh. He is a Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and a Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) Chartered Accountant (CA(M)). He is a PMI PMP (Project Management Professional).
Krishnan began his career in Audit, moving across to Finance before Business Development and Operations. His industry experience straddles Leasing, Quarrying, Premix, Oil & Gas Exploration, Waste Management, Education, Self Service and IT.
Krishnan has over 35 years of experience serving companies such as EY, Sunway, Raytheon, Schlumberger, Vivendi, CIMA, NCR and Dell. He has held increasingly responsible roles that have evolved from Country based to Regional and even Global roles in Asia and Europe.
He is currently self-employed and uses his entrepreneurial spirit to make a difference to individuals and society where he serves on advisory boards and sub-committees.

William Wong, PMP
William is currently on his second term as the Deputy President of PMI Malaysia Chapter. His first term in this role saw a tremendous growth in membership numbers within the Malaysian Chapter, which he credits to exceptional team work within the chapter leaders and volunteers. He also acts as an advisor for the 3rd and 4th PMIMY International Symposium.
Before elected this role, he was elected as Director of Planning in PMIMY for the 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 terms, and during his tenure, he has been the Chairperson of the inaugural and second editions of the PMIMY International Symposium which attracted more than 350 local and international delegates combined.
William works as a full-time Project Manager with PETRONAS ICT Sdn Bhd in the Operational Excellence division. He is responsible for managing projects on detailed engineering designs and implementation of Plant Information System throughout PETRONAS’ offshore, onshore and production facilities in Malaysia and the Middle East. He is currently managing PETRONAS’ corporate and downstream IT projects with the aim of automating and digitizing manual processes within the company.
Prior to PETRONAS, he has over 10 years’ experience in multinational companies in the manufacturing industry, managing projects in new product introductions. The products range from computer optical drives to hard drive manufacturing robotics automation and test equipment. He has participated and led various technology transfer projects in South Korea, Japan, and the United States to Malaysia.
William is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®). He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree (with Honours) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in Northumbria University in Newcastle, UK.

Wan Syamilah Wan Ismail, PMP
Wan Syamilah is a professionally certified Project Director with 18 years of working experience across multiple and diversified IT projects in the financial services and plantation industry specialized in software implementation, business intelligence, infrastructure design, and managed operation services.
She was elected as Secretary unopposed in April 2017. Prior to her current role, she was elected as the Director of Planning in PMIMY for the 2012/2013 term and as an Auditor for the 2013/2014 term. While serving her terms, she has attended the PMI Region Meeting and represented Malaysia to the Annual Symposium in Singapore and Indonesia.
Graduated from Marquette University, Wisconsin, with BSc. in Information Technology, she started her career in the banking industry as an IT Executive and rose up to the Managerial level. Developing a profound interest in project management, she pursued and obtained several certifications such as PMP®, SCRUM Master, PRINCE2 Practitioner, IBM Rational Unified Process v7 and ITIL v3 over her working years.
Wan Syamilah is currently attached to Felda Prodata Systems Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of Felda Global Ventures) as the Head of Project Portfolio Management Office. She was transferred from FGV Group IT department to establish the Project Division in Prodata, drive the company’s projects, enforce the usage of industry-standard project management process, and execute cross-functional process improvement. One of her biggest achievement is creating awareness within Prodata by collaborating with PMIMY in the PMIMY’s Outreach Program in September 2016.
An energetic, positive minded, and exceptional interpersonal communicator, Wan Syamilah is also an avid hiker/mountain climber, an adventurous outdoor enthusiast and a true-born ‘nature freak’.

Khairul Annuar bin Mohd Saffian, PMP
Khairul has over 24 years of corporate experience doing Business Development, Procurement, Product Development and Project Management within industries ranging from IT to Hospitality. He has several years of experience in starting up new companies and developing IT solutions, and has also international work experience in implementing projects in Uzbekistan and Myanmar.
He has a Bachelor of Commerce from Murdoch University (Australia) and MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University (Wales). He has also been a PMP certified Project Manager since 2007 and a certified ISO9001 Lead Assessor since 2003.
Khairul has been a PMI Malaysia Chapter volunteer since 2014. He held the Director of Planning position in the last Council where he contributed as the Chairman and MC for the PMIMY International Symposium 2016.

Alvin Anand, PMP
Alvin is a regional program manager leading the support services business and project implementations. He has more than thirteen years of leadership experience and hands-on exposure as an ICT professional.
Alvin is a volunteer in PMI Malaysia chapter since 2015 as a Director-at-Large and a happy EMCEE during their events. He has been actively involved in organizing evening talks, seminar and outreach events for the local chapter. Alvin has managed merchandizes of the local chapter as well. He was also the Project Manager for the 3 days One Build Exhibition in November 2016. He believes in life-long learning and enjoys creating platforms to share knowledge.
Alvin obtained his bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Hons) from University Technology Tun Hussein Onn and Master of Management from University Malaya. He pursued his interest in Project Management with PMP & PRINCE2 certifications.

Queenie Lee is a PMP-certified professional with over 20 years in project management, delivery and Solutions Presales consulting with international MNC companies. Queenie received her Bachelor of Science Honours in Economics and Information Systems degree from University of London.
Her forte lies in managing global change management, IT transition & transformation, IT portfolio, Project strategizing/re-engineering and IT Solutioneering & Presales. She is a strong advocate for strategic project management, network leadership and entrepreneurship.
Being named the recovery expert, she had helped many global and local projects to recover from troubled to safe zones and close them successfully with recognizable business value. With her vast experience and exposure in managing projects, she writes books and provides training owing to her life’s work experience in the journey in managing, controlling and recovering projects in multiple disciplines, industries and disciplines such as Enterprise Resource Planning, Enterprise Content Management, Infrastructure Technology Outsourcing and Business Process Outsourcing. Her recently launched book is available at Amazon bookstore and Kindle titled, “Last Things First: How to manage projects successfully using lessons learned”. Her book was featured in the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2018.
Queenie is very passionate about giving back and enjoys sharing and mentoring others. She believes that by contributing back to society, she gains benefits in multiple folds in opportunities. Her contribution extends to being a Council member with the portfolio of Director of Professional Development and multi-hatted as Symposium Communications Strategy Director with PMI Malaysia chapter and a volunteer in multiple occasions.
She has a keen eye for influential content writing, non-fiction reading, experiential travelling, playing the guitar, painting and spending time with family and her cat. She also loves practicing martial arts especially Aikido.

Maruthamutu Subramaniam, PMP
Maruthamutu is a T-shaped IT professional, an energetic, highly motivated, certified PMP & LEAN Practitioner with more than 23 years of experience in technology and business of which have spent over 15 years in various capacities within the Programme/Project Management/PMO roles in various industries (Oil & Gas, Financial, Telco, Transportation, Information Technology).
His main responsibilities were in leading the group-wide IT project and programme management assurance initiatives with the objective of delivering all IT project on time, on budget while ensuring high quality in end result. Ensuring all IT investments returns meet the expected benefits to the organisation. A recipient of multiple recognitions for achieving high performance targets in project/programme delivery space.
At current, he is working as a senior programme manager to deliver an Integrated Cashless Payment System (ICPS) for the Malaysian Government under Public Transport Regulator -Suruhanjaya Pengangkutan Awam Darat (SPAD).
He served as a volunteer in PMI Malaysia chapter since 2017 and he was elected as the Director of Programme on April 2018.

Nehru Nagappan, PMP
Being a Corporate breed, with more than 28 years of project expertise, he had developed and managed quite a number of projects in various medium/large size organizations. Mr. Nehru is also well known for his unique deadline management techniques, evidenced by his recent 4 continuous years of 100% Corporate KPI accomplishment.
He started out his career as a Systems Engineer supporting a well-known relational database for the Asia-Pacific region, and rose to the position to manage several key national ICT projects, such as Belanjawan (National Budget system) for Ministry of Finance [RM8 million], Malaysian Road Records Information System for Ministry of Finance [1 million], Housing Loan System for Ministry of Finance, Payroll System (PEMA) for Ministry of Defense and many others. He then moved on to Hong Kong to manage several large projects for The Walt Disney Company (Asia Pacific), including the construction of the Disneyland HK.
His other large projects includes the implementation of Collection System for Housing Development Board (HDB, Singapore) [SGD10 million], managing Quality and testing for Singapore Civil Defence Force and Land Transport Authority, Singapore, Customer Services Portal for Digi [4 million], Implementation of national Smart School for Telekom Smart School [RM10.25 million], initial setting up Biotechnology industry in Malaysia, Unified Communication System, ICT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Management [Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation] was among the other successful prestigious projects that he had managed, in addition to several other medium/small size projects.
Mr. Nehru is a well-known success coach and trainer, having trained more than 40,000 professionals in successful project management and execution, project leadership and teambuilding. His trademark trainings include topics on Body Language, Managing Deadline, Project Management Workshop Series, Project Management Essentials, PMP Bootcamp, COMPTIA Project+ Exam Preparation, Customer Service, among many others. Presently (from Apr 2018), he is the Head, Strategic Implementation / PMO at Bank Pembangunan Malaysia.

Nicole Yap, PMP
Nicole has 15 years of professional experience, which spans from Training, Consulting, Project Management, Change Management and Business Continuity Management.
She is an Associate Member of the Business Continuity Institute and certified in PMP.
Her current job includes planning and managing the Business Continuity Management Awareness campaign for Group CIMB, with a target audience of over 40,000 people (around 400 via face-to-face training/ seminars/ workshop and about 40,000 via e-learning), where she was one of the speakers and trainers for the said campaign. She oversees Wholesale Banking BCM program in CIMB as a BCM practitioner where her role includes assisting business owners to develop Business Impact Analysis and Risk Assessment in order to identify the potential risks threatening a business and its impact (both financial and non-financial) and develop Business Continuity Plan.
She is currently the appointed Project Manager for two major projects; an awareness initiative to spread the business continuity message throughout the organization, and a full Business Continuity Test involving the relocation of CIMB Investment Banking business units to their alternate sites. Prior to this, she was involved in driving a change initiative throughout CIMB Group to utilize CIMB’s new Customer Relationship Management system by maximizing employee engagement and minimizing employee resistance through various communication modes and following a change management methodology. Her experiences also expand beyond the banking line, in which she had worked for a technology company to restrategize their sales product line by introducing and providing training for two distribution Customer Relationship Management products. Her project management experience includes working in a multinational and multicultural environment, where she has worked with different race & culture locally as well as with foreign colleagues from America, Australia, Barbados, Brunei, India, Iran, Philippines, Cambodia and Thailand.
Prior to joining the PMIMY Council, she was part of Toastmasters International from 2011 to 2015 and had served as Club Secretary for one term and Vice President of Public Relations for 2 terms for a reputable Toastmasters club in Malaysia, Crystal Toastmasters. She was part of the organizing committee and served as a mentor for Youth Leadership Program (YLP) of the Club since 2011 – 2015. She was the Champion for the Humorous Speech Contest category at the Club and Area level, and 1st Runner Up at the Division level in year 2013.

Ahmad Zakaria has been trained in Computer Science. Over the last 23 years he has been involved in various IT areas such as IT Audit, System Development, IT Operations and IT Planning. Eric Ku Yee Fei, PMP
Eric Ku has been in the IT industry for the past 20 years. He has extensive experience in the IT and project management consulting and training space. He is the co-founder of iTrain – Asia’s No. 1 Tech Training Centre, a Google Authorized Web Academy Training Centre, Project Management Institute (PMI) Global Registered Education Provider, CompTIA Authorized Training Centre, Unity Authorized Training Centre and Microsoft Certified Partner. He was involved in managing IT related projects in various sizes during his engagements with banks and public listed companies. He was an independent project consultant before starting iTrain and continues managing training engagement projects in the region. He was awarded Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for Project by Microsoft Corporation USA for the 6th consecutive year on his contribution on Microsoft Technologies. He is the only MVP for Project in South-East Asia. He also speaks for Microsoft USA in TechNet webcasts and contributes articles in local technology magazines.
Eric has also established Project Management Competency Development Center (PMCDC), a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Project Managers Success in the region. He has organized Project Management related workshops and conferences since 2010 under PMCDC platform. One of his popular programme is PMO (Project Management Office) Learning Series where it has been conducting with the partnership with various government agencies like MDeC and INTAN (National Institute of Public Administration). Some of the prominent conferences that Eric has organized yearly are Microsoft Project Conference, PMO Conference and Project Leadership Conference.
Eric is also the Chairman of the Green ICT Promotion and Awareness for the Malaysian Technical Standards Forum Berhad (MTSFB), Committee Member, IT and Youth Committee of Kuala Lumpur – Selangor Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KLSCCCI) and the Project Director of the International Council of SME and Entrepreneurship Malaysia. Eric started his career with a Singapore based bank and subsequently worked as the Head of IT with a public listed company where he was responsible to lead the IT department team across 8 branches spanning 6 cities.

Thamilselvan Munusamy, PMP
Thamil is a Senior Manager with Aker Solutions Malaysia in Quality & Continuous Improvement department. He has an extensive experience spanning 16 years in Project Quality and Quality Engineering functions. His forte is in Oil & Gas Downhole and Subsea Systems. He is an expert at analysing and solving the most complex process related problems. Thamil is a self-motivated professional, capable of working independently or as part of a team. He is results-oriented with proven skills and established track record.

Nicole Yap, PMP
Nicole has 15 years of professional experience, which spans from Training, Consulting, Project Management, Change Management and Business Continuity Management.
She is an Associate Member of the Business Continuity Institute and certified in PMP.
Her current job includes planning and managing the Business Continuity Management Awareness campaign for Group CIMB, with a target audience of over 40,000 people (around 400 via face-to-face training/ seminars/ workshop and about 40,000 via e-learning), where she was one of the speakers and trainers for the said campaign. She oversees Wholesale Banking BCM program in CIMB as a BCM practitioner where her role includes assisting business owners to develop Business Impact Analysis and Risk Assessment in order to identify the potential risks threatening a business and its impact (both financial and non-financial) and develop Business Continuity Plan.
She is currently the appointed Project Manager for two major projects; an awareness initiative to spread the business continuity message throughout the organization, and a full Business Continuity Test involving the relocation of CIMB Investment Banking business units to their alternate sites. Prior to this, she was involved in driving a change initiative throughout CIMB Group to utilize CIMB’s new Customer Relationship Management system by maximizing employee engagement and minimizing employee resistance through various communication modes and following a change management methodology. Her experiences also expand beyond the banking line, in which she had worked for a technology company to restrategize their sales product line by introducing and providing training for two distribution Customer Relationship Management products. Her project management experience includes working in a multinational and multicultural environment, where she has worked with different race & culture locally as well as with foreign colleagues from America, Australia, Barbados, Brunei, India, Iran, Philippines, Cambodia and Thailand.

Krishnan is a 3 term Chapter Leader. He was Treasurer before assuming the Presidency in October 2015.
He holds a BSc in Accounting & Financial Management from the University of Buckingham & a MBA from the University of Edinburgh. He is a CIMA Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA), AICPA Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and a Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) Chartered Accountant (CA(M)). He is a PMI PMP.
Krishnan has 33 years of wide working experience in a variety of industries obtained through companies like EY, Sungai Way, Raytheon, Schlumbrger, Vivendi, CIMA, NCR and Dell. He has held increasingly responsible roles that have evolved from Country based to Regional and even Global roles in Asia and Europe.

William Wong, PMP
William is currently a Project Manager with PETRONAS ICT Sdn Bhd in the Operational Excellence division. He is responsible for managing projects on detailed engineering designs and implementation of Plant Information System throughout PETRONAS’ offshore, onshore and production facilities in Malaysia and also the Middle East.
Prior to PETRONAS, he has over 10 years experience in multinational companies in the manufacturing industry, managing projects in new product introductions. The products range from computer optical drives to hard drive manufacturing robotics automation and test equipment. He has participated and also led various technology transfer projects in South Korea, Japan, and the United States.
William was formerly the Director of Planning in PMIMY for the 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 terms, and during his tenure, he has been the Chairperson of the inaugural and second editions of the PMIMY International Symposium which attracted more than 350 local and international delegates combined.

Welling Chang
Welling Chang, has been in the IT industry for the past 21 years. She has extensive experience in the IT and project management consulting and program portfolio. She is currently works for IBM Client Innovation Center, She is responsible for managing the largest IBM Internal Global Program across the globe. She is an active member to company’s related activities various from Townhall and charity initiative by IBM CIC.
She obtained her IBM Internal certification in 2015 and certified as IBM Certified Advisory Project Manager and prior to the certification, she obtained her accreditation in 2014 as IBM Accredited Associate Project Manager.
Prior to IBM CIC, she has over 10 years’ experience in managing projects and program in multinational companies in the telecommunication and financial service industry. Allen Tan
Allen has extensive experience in various aspects of project management in the real estate and property sector for the past 13 years. Currently he holds the position of Project Director in TLS Group, an established property development group based in Kajang, Selangor.
In the area of property development, Allen works closely with the rest of the board of directors in strategy formulation and determining the direction of growth for the company. He also works in collaboration with government bodies & consultants from various disciplines in the planning and development stage.
Allen is also playing active role in project management of construction. He has successfully led and delivered many residential and commercial projects ahead of the expected completion time.
