Project Management Day of Service (PMDoS) 2025

Event Overview
Project Management Day of Service (PMDoS) 2025 is an initiative by PMI Malaysia Chapter where NGOs and nonprofits are provided with pro bono professional project management services to help them address their most difficult challenges.
We do this by bringing together experienced project managers (PMIMY volunteers) with organizations who are passionate about serving their communities. PMIMY volunteers help the NGOs to scope and plan projects that enable them to do more to serve their communities.
Each participating NGO will be paired with a team of experienced project managers through a “matching” process. Project managers and NGO representatives will discuss, scope and plan a project to address a critical need of the NGO and the NGO leaves with an actionable plan. PMDoS consultants will follow up with the NGOs 3 months after the main event day (4th October 2025) to review their project progress and outcome.

This initiative provides the opportunity for PMIMY chapter members, volunteers and partners to give back to society by sharing project management expertise to help NGOs and nonprofits achieve successful project outcomes and make a meaningful impact.

PDU Details
PMDoS Volunteer Consultants who will be advising the NGOs / nonprofits may claim up to 8 PDUs under the ‘Giving back’ category.
